Do ad units affect the loading speed of my website?

The technology used by The Moneytizer scripts is the asynchronous javascript. This means that the content of your site is loaded first and then the ads.

If you are measuring the loading speed of your website with a tool such as GTmetrix, you might see a little decrease after placing our ad units. That is because there is a certain incompatibility between programmatic advertising and GTmetrix or similar measuring tools.

You need to acknowledge that even renowned websites are confronted this incompatibility problem that you can test by submitting some of your country’s biggest websites to those measuring tools.

Why?

The ads load in parallel with the content and in no way prevent your visitors from seeing the content while it is still loading.

The tool GTmetrix calculates the loading of a page when all the page scripts are done charging, which can lead to some confusion, since the audience analysis pixels are loaded AFTER the content and the ads.

This enables you to control the users’ behavior regarding the displayed ads.

Therefore, the page loading in X seconds is not a value that should be taken into account in that case. For instance, your content is loaded in 2 seconds and our ads 2 seconds later.

This does not affect your website’s accessibility and indexation in search engines. It is also important to note that GTmetrix only has one server located in Vancouver, Canada. This can add to the loading time.

The Moneytizer uses servers all around the world, which enables us to display ads more quickly.

All in all, our ads should not affect the loading speed of your website.
